"Horses and children, I often think, have a lot of the good sense there is in the world." -Josephine Demott Robinson
Summer Camp is a wonderful and unforgettable experience for any child who loves horses and is eager to learn about them. At camp, the children learn respect for the horses, and of safety around horses, feeding, grooming, horse anatomy, equipment terminology, tacking and untacking, and, of course, riding. Each camper receives thirty minutes in-the-saddle instruction daily (tot's camp - fifteen minutes). In addition to horse activities, the campers will enjoy nature walks, daily arts and crafts, water games, and more!
Campers are required to wear a safety helmet, long pants, and boots with a short heel. For those needing supplies, our on site tack shop carries most sizes throughout the year. At the end of camp every camper will receive a free Manito t-shirt in their size and favorite color!
Camp begins June 21st and runs every week until September 3rd.
Regular day camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 - 2:00; fee is $350.
Tot day camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:30 - 12:30; fee is $230.
We are currently accepting early registrations, so reserve your week now before it fills up!
